Terms of Service
The agreement that governs use of TrueTech Group applications, add-ons, and services.
Effective August 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and TrueTech Group LLC, an Oregon limited liability company ("TrueTech Group," "we," "us"). They govern your use of our applications, add-ons, and services, including Google Workspace add-ons distributed through the Google Workspace Marketplace, applications distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and web applications we host. By installing or using any of them, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the product.
Business agreements come first
Most of our products are provided to a business customer under a separate signed agreement, such as a master services agreement, statement of work, or subscription order. Business clients under a signed Order are governed by our Services Terms. Where such an agreement exists and conflicts with these terms, that agreement controls for that customer and its authorized users. Where a product is installed for an organization by its administrator, the organization accepts these terms on behalf of its users.
Your license to use the product
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the product on devices or accounts you own or control, for its intended business purpose, in accordance with these terms and any applicable marketplace rules. We retain all right, title, and interest in the product, our services, and everything in them. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, rent, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code, except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable under applicable law.
Accounts
Where an account is required, you must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and remain responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. If your account was issued by your employer or another organization, that organization administers it and may suspend, modify, or revoke your access at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the product to break the law; to upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or anyone else's; to interfere with or overload the service; to scrape, bulk-export, or resell the service or data that is not yours; to impersonate anyone; or to process data you have no right to process. We may suspend access to protect the service, our customers, or third parties, and we restore access as soon as the reason for the suspension is resolved.
Your data
You, or the organization that provides your account, own the data you put into or open in the product. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, transmit, process, and display that data to operate the product for you and to provide support. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. You are responsible for having the rights necessary to process that data in the product and for its accuracy.
Automated and assistive features
Some products include features that summarize, extract, match, classify, or suggest, whether by rules or by machine learning. Output from these features can be incomplete or wrong. It is decision support, not professional, legal, financial, or engineering advice, and it does not replace your own review. You remain responsible for verifying anything you act on and for the decisions you make. We make no warranty that any automated output is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
Google Workspace Marketplace add-ons
These terms apply in addition to the general terms above when you use a TrueTech Group add-on obtained from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
Installation and administration
Some of our add-ons are published as private listings and installed domain-wide by a Google Workspace administrator on behalf of an organization. Where that is the case, the organization decides who has the add-on, may remove it at any time, and is responsible for its use within the organization. Individual users cannot separately negotiate these terms.
Permissions you grant
The add-on operates only within the scopes shown on the Google consent screen and stated in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke that access at any time through your Google Account, and an administrator may revoke it for the organization. Revoking access ends the add-on's ability to function.
Google is not a party
This agreement is between you and TrueTech Group. Google is not a party to it, is not responsible for the add-on, and provides no warranty or support for it. Your use of Google Workspace is separately governed by your agreement with Google, and use of the Marketplace is governed by Google's own terms. We are not responsible for changes Google makes to its APIs, platform, or policies, which may change or interrupt add-on functionality.
Dependence on your own systems
Where an add-on retrieves business context from your organization's systems, its usefulness depends on those systems being available and their data being accurate. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of systems we do not operate.
Apple App Store applications
These terms apply in addition to the general terms above when you obtain a TrueTech Group application from the Apple App Store.
Apple's role and required terms
This agreement is between you and TrueTech Group only, not Apple, and TrueTech Group alone is responsible for the application and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the application fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. TrueTech Group, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claim relating to the application, including product liability, failure to conform to legal requirements, and claims under consumer protection or privacy law, and for the investigation and defense of any third-party claim that the application infringes intellectual property rights.
Eligibility and third-party beneficiary
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement where it applies.
Google Play applications
These terms apply in addition to the general terms above when you obtain a TrueTech Group application from Google Play.
Google Play's role
Your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the application. Billing, subscription management, and refunds for purchases made through Google Play are handled by Google under its policies.
Web applications and this website
These terms apply in addition to the general terms above when you use truetechgroup.io or a web application we host.
Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it outside a signed service level agreement. We may perform maintenance, deploy changes, and modify or discontinue features. Where a change would materially reduce functionality a customer relies on, we give reasonable notice.
Fees
Some products are free. Others are paid, either through a marketplace or under a separate agreement or invoice. Where fees apply they are stated at the point of purchase or in your agreement, are due as stated there, and are non-refundable except where required by law or by the applicable marketplace's refund policy. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to that store's billing, subscription, and refund terms.
Third-party services
Our products may connect to services we do not control, either because you chose to connect them or because they are part of the underlying platform. We are not responsible for those services, their availability, or their handling of your data, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Warranty disclaimer
Except where a separate signed agreement says otherwise, the products and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that a product will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueTech Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, arising out of or relating to the products or these terms, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims relating to a product in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us for that product during that period or one hundred U.S. dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold TrueTech Group harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of a product, your violation of these terms, or your violation of the rights of a third party.
Termination
You may stop using a product, uninstall it, or revoke its access at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the product. On termination your license ends immediately. We make your data available for export for 30 days after termination unless your separate agreement provides otherwise or the law requires earlier deletion. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, survive.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Oregon, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction. Before filing, we ask that you contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes are announced in the product or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use a product after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
